We are a Race Timing company who will be in Wilmington, NY to time the Wilmington Whiteface 100K bike race on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

We have three locations on the race course where timing equipment will positioned to read Radio Frequency ID reads from racers as they pass by. I will be hiring three people to take the equipment to each location. You’ll turn it on, set the time and date, connect the internet and then babysit the equipment until it is time to shut it all down. It would be a great time to read a book you’ve been wanting to read and get paid for it. Training will be provided, but it is super easy. You MUST NOT be afraid of learning new, simple tasks. You MUST NOT be afraid of technology. Again, though it is super-easy.

Availability
Friday, June 2 – You will need to be available at a time to be determined (I can be flexible to everyone in the group) for training and to drive to the locations where the equipment will be. This will take no more than two hours, probably less.

Saturday, June 3 6:00am to 3:00pm – This is the timeframe of the race. Certain locations will be turned off sooner than others. A schedule and a manual will be provided.

Requirements: Must have a car and reliable cellular service. If you have an iPhone that is highly preferred over Android. Sorry, but it’s just better and more reliable for the application. Must know how to use the GPS on your phone. We find that Verizon is better service. Sprint and AT&T did not work for our staff last year. It would also be nice if you are familiar with the area. You must be reliable and timeliness is critical.

A total of $175 will be paid upon completion of the race. This is for the training on Friday and for the day of the race. If you are interested and available, please contact Michael. 303-656-0732
