Steve spent ten years in Chicago building a career in every facet of racing and event production. In the fall of 2013, he packed up and moved out West to found High Altitude Special Events and High Altitude Race Timing. As the current race director of over 20 events annually, Steve is the consummate specialist who can build a race from an idea to a brand. Events he currently manages include the Sarasota Music Half Marathon, American Brain Tumor BT5K national event series, Geist Half Marathon in Indianapolis, the Chicago Blackhawks Training Camp Festival, and the Salt Lake City Marathon. And he still manages to find time to ‘moonlight’ as a race timer.
